I use many of the same precision computer tools that I have used in my 25 years as a High Tech Machine Engineer and Ergonomic Design Specialist. These tools help me create precision floor plans and calculate the total area with extreme accuracy. I also use the same computer programs that Architects use for house and building design. The methods I use are consistent with ANSI standards. (American National Standards Institute) This is the Nationally recognized standard to calculating the living area in houses and buildings.
